FAVE FINDs
Something I’ve been meaning to do for ages (too long, honestly) is document life’s everyday moments. I love sharing things as they happen, but even more, I adore looking back years later at what was of the time. I think it all started when I was little, filling out those annual books with questions like:
When I grow up, I want to be…
My favourite food is…
And don’t get me started on the eternal regret of deleting my MySpace. What a perfectly chaotic time capsule.
So here goes:
Loving
The terrazzo floors in Millie Savage's abode - Chef’s kiss.
Hardle - Like Wordle. But harder.
Wanting
This Ken Done x Kip & Co terry robe that I’ve dreamed about during my indoor newborn summer.
Pink and red Gorman sandals — the perfect combo.
The Piknik ball from Kikki K - Lisa Gorman can do no wrong. Kikki K is officially nailing non-stationery products, and I am here for it.
Watching
Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist on Stan — all the feels!
Honourable mention to Wicked — I bought the digital streaming version and it took two sittings to watch it because newborn life, but now I can rewatch anytime.
Reading
Onyx Storm — no spoilers, please!
Possum Magic - suddenly realising how wild some of my childhood books’ storylines are.
Dining
Olympus — the saganaki did not disappoint.
Chiswick — that honey haloumi... wow.
DOC — every. single. pizza. was. perfect. Plus, the burrata? Life-changing.
PS: Bought a jar of Meredith Valley goat cheese this week, and yep, it's still worth the price tag. Cheesy times indeed.
Shopping
I bought this peary cute outfit - not every little boy outfit needs to be dinosaurs or vehicles!
I joined the Portier party - form and function. But now I am eyeing off a Tula one…you can have more than one carrier right? Like changing up a handbag, except it has a 6kg baby in it lol.
This embroidery kit — will it join the craft cupboard of shame, never to be started? Probably.
Exploring
Discovering the surprisingly luxe world of (some) parents' rooms.
Gunyama Pool - took the little one for his first swim!
Baby spa — yes, it’s a thing.
Mums and bubs Pilates - mum hack: take a bouncer with you.
